   Boil-water advisory at Reinen in Tromsdalen lifted after control samples showed no bacteria

   • The boil-water advisory has now been lifted. This happened on Sunday 4 October at 15:24. Tests showed no bacteria in the water.
   • A large water pipe leaked near Reinen school on Thursday 1 October. The water was shut off at 15:00 from Reinen school in Tromsdalen south to Solstrandvegen 530. It came back at midnight.

   Toftvegen in Tromsø widened so buses can now pass each other safely

   • Toftvegen above Hamna school has been made wider. The work took place over summer and autumn and is now finished. Buses can meet on the road.
   • The junction to the north has been widened. Buses no longer end up on the pavement when they pass each other.

   TV Action 2026 supports the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) with safe housing for refugees – Tromsø seeks collectors

   • This year's TV Action supports NRC (the Norwegian Refugee Council) and takes place on Sunday 18 October. The money will give refugees safer homes in Syria, Gaza, Afghanistan, Chad, Sudan and DR Congo.
   • The help is for 400,000 people who have fled their homes.

   • Work on Ørnevegen in Tromsø is finished. Many pupils and staff at Langnes lower secondary school walk here, and many people live nearby.
   • 390 metres of new sidewalk have been built, plus crossings everyone can use and new drains that carry away rain and meltwater.
