    Zoning plan for Ski station east approved – hotel and offices allowed on commuter car park

    • On 16 September 2026 the municipality approved a plan for the area east of Ski station. It makes it possible to build a hotel and offices where the commuter car park is today.
    • The announcement does not say how big the buildings will be or what happens to the parking spaces. All plan documents are on arealplaner.no under "Planbehandlinger".

    Nordre Follo puts regulation on allocation of municipal housing out for consultation until 28 October 2026

    • Nordre Follo's municipal council decided on 16 September 2026 that the proposed new housing rules go out for consultation for six weeks. The deadline to respond is 28 October 2026.
    • The rules will replace the 2020 guidelines. This makes them legally binding, not just advice.

    • The plan covers the corner of Rådhusparken in Kolbotn centre. The old buildings would be torn down and replaced by a new one with homes, a shop and some offices.
    • The new building would have 6 storeys. The shop and offices are on the ground floor, with homes above. The top floor is set back a little from the front.

    • Nordre Follo municipality has sent a proposed school calendar for 2027/2028 and 2028/2029 out for public comment. You can give input until 12 October 2026.
    • The law says every municipality must have a school calendar as a regulation (a binding rule). The school year must have at least 38 weeks in a row within a 45-week frame. That equals 190 school days for pupils.

    Nordre Follo signs Rådhushagen development agreement covering about NOK 40 million of infrastructure

    • Nordre Follo municipality and Kirkeveien Utbyggingsselskap AS (KUAS) have signed an agreement on developing site BKB4 in Ski centre. It covers the works that must be done alongside the housing, under a 2019 zoning plan.
    • Roads, water and sewage, and green areas worth about NOK 40 million will be built. The municipality will take them over afterwards.
