Kristiansand sends proposal to merge Grim primary schools at Solholmen out for consultation until 15 January 2027

    • The executive committee will send four proposals for the primary schools at Grim (Krossen and Solholmen) out for public comment. This follows a city council decision in March 2025: the special support department at Krossen stays, but the structure must change.
    • Today Krossen has 83 pupils and Solholmen has 213. Krossen has 5–15 pupils per year group, Solholmen 27–35. The municipal director says there are too few pupils for two primary schools run this way, and does not recommend keeping the current set-up.
