    Klepp municipality adopts 2022–2033 municipal plan with revised land-use provisions

    • The municipal plan shows how Klepp will develop. The societal part has goals, challenges and long-term strategies, based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Its land-use strategy guides the land-use part (the map and rules for how land can be used).
    • The land-use part is adopted. Revised provisions and guidelines were adopted on 19.10.26. A plan description and a list of properties (farm and property numbers) in LNF areas (agriculture, nature and outdoor recreation) are also included.

    Klepp municipality amends the zoning plan for Sporafjell/Åna-Grude at Leitevegen

    • On 19 October 2026 the planning director in Klepp changed the zoning plan for Sporafjell/Åna-Grude (planID 2240). Affected parties were consulted first.
    • The change covers sub-areas B6, B7, B8 and B9 at Leitevegen. The refuse truck can now turn inside the area and no longer has to drive through the parking area for homes in Kleppemarka.

    • The latest adopted plan is Sporafjell/Åna-Grude (19.10.2026). Next come Tjøtta B27 and B29 (13.10.2026) and Haugabakka (23.9.2026).

    Klepp town hall is moving: citizen service at Kleppetunet 27 October–20 November, then in Plogen

    • Citizen service is at Kleppetunet, Olav Hålandsveg 2, from Tuesday 27 October to Friday 20 November. It is open 08:00–14:00, with a lunch break 11:00–11:30.
    • There you can get bags for food waste, help with a new waste bin tag and a disabled parking card, and answers to questions.

    Klepp municipality amends Tjøtta area plan, allowing higher utilisation of a merged residential area

    • On 13 October 2026 a Klepp municipal committee approved a change to the Tjøtta B27 and B29 area plan (planID 6270).
    • The change is small. The whole cycle and walking path from Lindevegen, past the back of Kvernaland Bil and down to Eskervegen, is now in one plan.

    • Plogen cultural centre, town hall and church in Klepp is nominated for Betongtavlen 2026. The prize goes to buildings that use concrete in an outstanding way. It is given by the Norwegian Concrete Association and the Norwegian Association of Architects, and has existed since 1961.
    • Two others are nominated: the house Tussefaret in Drøbak and Villa Hegard in Oslo. The winner is announced on 9 November.

    • Klepp municipality won the Carer-Friendly Municipality of the Year 2026 award at the digital Carers' Conference 2026. The award was first given in 2017.
    • The jury says carers (family and close contacts of people who need help) meet a clear, easy-to-use municipality. Children are treated well. It is easy to talk to someone at the health clinic, at school and where adults get help.
