   Kinn municipality puts Barstadvika zoning plan for hatchery and smolt facility out for consultation until 14 December 2026

   • Kinn municipality's planning and environment committee has decided that a private zoning plan for Barstadvika goes out for public consultation (case 074/26). Anyone can read it and give their views.
   • The plan covers a hatchery and a smolt facility (a place where young fish are raised). They would supply fish farms that already have a licence for 15,000 tonnes. To make room, an existing sea fill must be made bigger.

   Kinn municipality adopts land-use plan 2026–2036 replacing three older plans

   • Kinn municipal council adopted the land-use part of its municipal plan for 2026–2036 on 17 September 2026 (case 113/26). The decision is announced under the Planning and Building Act.
   • The new plan replaces three older plans: the Flora plan from 2017, the Vågsøy plan from 2002 and the Stavang plan from 2005.
