   NVE seeks input on scope of studies for Blanktjennsmoen Solar (34 MWp) solar plant – deadline 8 May 2026

   • The company Vindr AS wants to build a solar power plant and has sent a notification to NVE (the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate). It is now open for public comment.
   • The plant would have a capacity of 34 MWp and produce about 44 GWh a year. The site is about 481 decares.

   Elverum council relaxes retail restrictions in the Nordmo quarter – appeal deadline 8 December 2025

   • On 5 November 2025 (case 111/25) the municipal council changed the zoning plan for the Nordmo quarter in Vestad. More types of shops are now allowed there.
   • The area lies along Jegerstien and covers 24.5 decares. It has a commercial building with Rema 1000 and Biltema, and a car park.

   Elverum council adopts zoning plan allowing 6–10-storey blocks next to the Vestad bus station

   • Elverum's municipal council approved a plan for Jernbanegata 7 and 9 on 11.12.2025. It allows tall apartment blocks in central Vestad, next to the bus station.
   • The blocks will be 6–10 storeys and can hold homes, offices, shops and services. They are lowest near the station and taller further away. The north-east corner can have 10 storeys. The plan allows at most 35,000 m² of floor area. Building will happen step by step.

   Elverum approves 19 housing units at Elgvegen 13 and 15 in Vestad – complaint deadline 19 March 2026

   • On 18 Feb 2026 (case 027/26) the executive committee changed the zoning plan. The number of homes allowed rises from 10 to 19 in total at Elgvegen 13 and 15.
   • Foseid Eiendom wants to rebuild Elgvegen 13, where a building with a shop and homes burned down. The new building will have about the same size and shape as the old one. Elgvegen 15 already has 7 homes.

   Elverum council adopts zoning plan for detached houses at Ydalir B6; appeal deadline 5 November 2026

   • On 23.09.2026 (case 120/26) the municipal council adopted a plan for Ydalir B6. It allows detached houses with a playground and infrastructure. The appeal deadline is 05.11.2026.
   • The area is 21.6 decares and lies along Basaltvegen in Ydalir. Nothing has been built on it so far. It borders the Sagåa Øvre housing estate to the east and empty land to the west. Plan1 AS prepared the plan for Elverum Tomteselskap.

   Elverum municipality puts zoning plan for Amfi Elverum expansion and new town square out for consultation – deadline 24 October 2025

   • Elverum's executive board has sent a plan for Amfi Elverum and the town square out for consultation. Embark AS drew up the plan for Amfi. You can comment until 24 October 2025.
   • The aim is to extend the shopping centre northwards and have a square that works well and looks attractive. The current plan requires an adopted detailed plan before building can start.

   Zoning plan to upgrade 27 km of Rv. 25 in Elverum is out for public consultation until 1 December 2025

   • The Norwegian Public Roads Administration and Elverum municipality have proposed a plan for Rv. 25 between Løvbergsmoen and Flishøgda in Elverum. Anyone can give their views until 1 December 2025.
   • The road section is about 27 km long. The goals are smoother traffic, more safety, fewer accidents and asphalt that lasts longer.

   Revised Terningmoen camp zoning plan out for second consultation after objections on biodiversity and watercourses

   • Elverum's executive committee has sent the Terningmoen camp plan out for a second round of public comments. You can respond by 20 October 2026. The firm 3RW Arkitekter drew up the plan for Forsvarsbygg.
   • The plan would let the whole camp be expanded as the Armed Forces' long-term plan for 2025–2036 requires. It shows a new access road west of Terningen Arena and housing at Jegerstien 2–8, where four semi-detached houses stand now.

   Terningen Arena in Elverum is re-notified with a planning programme and impact assessment; comments due 25 November

   • The plan for Terningen Arena in Elverum needs an impact assessment (a study of how it affects environment and society). It is therefore re-announced with a draft planning programme. You can send comments by 25 November (2025).
   • The area is about 160 decares. It lies next to Rv25 Hamarvegen and Terningmoen camp. It includes the University of Inland Norway, the Terningen Arena buildings, a kindergarten and the municipality's sports fields.

    Forsvarsbygg gives notice of rezoning at Terningmoen to allow more shooting noise from joint recruit school

    • The firm 3RW arkitekter, working for Forsvarsbygg (the defence property agency), has announced a new zoning plan for the Terningmoen shooting and training area (plan ID 2011008-01). The aim is to set limits for more shooting noise.
    • The reason is that the Armed Forces will set up a joint recruit school at Terningmoen. Over time there will be many more recruits. They need to use the shooting and training area.
