Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage protects MS «Salten» in Bodø as Norway's 18th vessel
- The Directorate for Cultural Heritage has protected the ship MS «Salten», also called Gamle Salten. Protected means the ship is officially preserved. It is the 18th vessel in Norway to get this status.
- The protection was marked on board in Bodø on Thursday. Director General Hanna Geiran gave a plaque and diploma to Roald Ovid Isaksen, chair of the MS Salten Foundation. Several dozen people came, many of them volunteers.
